On September th, 2016, Logsdon Farmhouse Ales welcomed the newest member to our small brewing family, little Tucker. The week he was born, we brewed this special beer to embrace the occasion. Tuckered Out Stout is a rich Imperial Stout brewed with UK malts and cocoa powder, then aged in Heaven Hill Select bourbon barrels for 15 months before an additional rest on organic cacao nibs. Flavors and aromas of chocolate, vanilla and toasted bread accompany a soft carbonation and solid backbone of malt that finishes deceptively dry. At 11.8% ABV, Tuckered Out Stout is best shared and celebrated with friends and family.

Brownish-black body; decently thick head. Chocolate and cocoa notes in the aroma; charred grain. Incredibly dark, roasted and charred grain, and sweet flavors; milk chocolate; milk sugar; cocoa; the slightest hint of alcohol and bitterness. Heavy body; silky and velvety.
A powerhouse imperial stout: thick, rich, and luscious. The beer exudes a deeply satisfying black sweetness and caresses the palate and mind with a religiously stunning palate full of dark and sensuous malt sweetness and deceptively simple boozy notes. Heavenly...
