Nice to see this Alesong collaboration, as the brewer has midwestern roots here in Chicago.
Pour a bright and saturated crimson color, a finger of foam fades quickly.
Aroma is vinous, with fruit, oak, and honey notes.
Very dry and moderately acidic, the Tempranillo grapes are fruity and present in the blend, with a puckering clean lactic acid in the middle and a clean oaky finish. Ample carbonation, fairly lean and light bodied. Overall this was very good, and had a nice depth from the barrel.
