German Style Pilsner features the delicate flavors of German Pilsner Malt, subtle spicy hop flavors from Hallertau Mittelfruh hops, and the crisp, clean profile of a classic Bavarian lager yeast. At just 5.3% ABV, it is emminently drinkable, and the go-to beer for our staff shift pints. Prost!

Can. White head. Lace. Clear golden color.
An amazing pils. True to style. Crisp, clean, flavorful. Biscuity and bready. Grassy and floral. A bit of citrus zest. Light bodied. Amazing feel, superb drinkability.

16 oz. can. Clear golden. Smells of cereals and some floral hops. Tastes of lightly sweet cereal grains up front. Slick body. Some floral and herbal hops. Medium light. Doesn't strike me as a German pilsner. It's a decent lager. Little sweet, some mild hops. Mostly clean, but a little yeasty.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of spicy hops are present in the nose along with some hints of grassy hops.
T: The taste very much follows the smell and is dominated by flavors of spicy hops. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The hops also lend a touch of dryness to the finish.
O: This beer does a very good job at showcasing the aromas of and flavors of the Hallertau Mittelfruh hops - these are very spicy, but in a subtle way and not like peppery spices.

To be honest, this one is a bit bewildering in the beginning. It’s like a Kardashian giving to charity - you are like, “What?” So, yeah, these Logsdon guys made a Lager and put it into a can? Well, shit. To hell with it. Let’s go. And for the most part, it’s pretty cool. It’s like, there. Chilling. And it’s welcomed to the party. Homeboy ain’t skunky, syrupy, or nasty. And the last time I checked that’s a good thing.
Big ups to Logsdon Lager.

L - pale golden straw, plenty of foam, good lacing. 5.3%
S - doughy biscuits, less than a month old in the can, aromas of lemony hops too. Very traditional.
T - Woah - cracker, saltine, citric elements, clean lager taste. Impressive. Will seek out again.
F - Really good carbonation, full palate, refreshing, never heavy, never light.
O - Doesn't surprise me that the wild ale folks know how to properly make a Lager. Impressive.

Clear, golden color to the body; plenty of lively carbonation; thick, soapy head. Biscuit and caramel malt sweetness in the aroma with some herbal spiciness. Light and soothing malt flavor; mild sweetness; bread crust; a bit of mineral presence; spicy, lightly biting hop bitterness. Fairly light in body; bright and crisp on the palate; a touch of sweetness yet also has some low-key dryness.
A German-style pilsner, the beer delivers balance and flavor in all the right proportions. Nothing exceptional yet quite pleasant to drink.

Can from Saraveza. Canned 25 Feb.
A clear golden orange with a thin white head that falls off quickly leaving little lacing this looks solid. The nose is decent, a blend of fresh, lemony hops and a little earth with a mildly sweet grainy base. A little bit of straw and dough are present , but this is a little too sweet. The palate opens with a blend of sweetness and bitterness, a little grainy and straw like. Lemon, earth and a mildly medicinal bitterness are present. Little too sweet on the mid palate with dough and a little caramel. Mildly watery on the palate , this is clean and crisply carbonated. Decent.

Look: Clear, picturesque gold with some minor carbonation bubbles rising to the top. Two fingers of fizzy white head that quickly dissipates.
Smell: Crackers, sweet malt, citrusy hops. Exactly what a German lager should be.
Taste: Sweet, biscuity malt with a slight medicinal bitterness that lingers on the tongue.
Mouthfeel: Extremely smooth and full body, with minimal carbonation.
Overall: This is a classic interpretation, like something you'd get in a small German town from the local brewery. I just want more complexity out of the hops.

Very crisp, easy to drink lager from a brewery that’s new to me. 2/25/20 date printed on can. Pours a clean clear golden color with some fluffy white head and beautiful rings of lingering lacing that lasted forever. Smells of crisp grain, corn, malt, caramel, vanilla, light nuttiness. Taste follows the nose, very crisp and clean, very enjoyable and easy to drink. Smooth clean crisp mild mouthfeel, good carbonation. I would easily call this sessionable.
