16oz can into a pint glass into a tulip on 7/24/20. Canned on date smudged.
Looks outstanding in the glass, glassy, hazy yellow body with a small white head which maintains in some form throughout leaving streaks of lacing.
Floral & Grapefruit aromas.
On tasting, some pine pushes in for a 3-way with the floral & grapefruit. None dominate, good solid malt backbone, nicely crafted brew here.
Mouth between medium and full, a light piney bitterness on the finish.
Overall, enjoyed this one a lot. nice to get back to the classics after a recent NE IPA assault on my taste buds.

L: In a noner pint glass, pours semi hazy with a finger of head.
A: tons of grapefruit upfront with pine and orange peel in the background
T: More grapefruit and pine with a bit of mixed berries
M: velvety with a bitter finish that lingers just a little
O: This probably a dime a dozen in the PNW, but we don't get a ton of clean, resinous WC IPA in MN. All around an enjoyable beer to have with dinner.

A: The beer is a little hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a small patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries are present in the nose along with notes of piney hops. As teh beer begins to warm up there are notes of melon.
T: The taste has flavors of grapefruit and pine along with notes of gooseberries and hints of herbal hops. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has the classic bitterness and pine of a West Coast IPA but the smell and taste are a little more complex with additional aromas and flavors.
Serving type: can
