Right away this caught me eye after being poured as one of the lightest SRM's I've ever seen. Literally, the picture I took of this beer looks like it is lighter and less malty than Bud Light. Its that old joke about spilling a beer into your water.
Anyhoo, extremely light appearance, barely a hint of yellow in the liquid. Looks like those urinalysis tests where the bro was chugging water beforehand. Creatinine, do you tell the story? Despite that super light appearance, it does have 3/5" white head on it, and decent retention. The aroma has the traditional yogurt tang smack going for it replete with a wheat whiff and a light footy note. Well done. Getting hyped now.
Taste is quite nice, still pimping that light lemon lacto sourness, draped in wheat that has an impact more substantial than its appearance. Sure, the light body is requisite to style, but the juxtaposition of levity meeting full flavored is remarkable. This beer relies on no tricks up the sleeve. Its meant to be everything it is, light and crushable, traditional, full flavored stuff.
In an ideal world, there'd be a vending machine with this stuff down at the river and the softball park. Shit why stop there, throw one in at work and the bottom of Mt. Rose. Pretty good stuff.

16 fl oz can:
A rather well done classic Berliner Weissbier.
Other American breweries seem to need fruit as a crutch for their expressions of this style, but Logsdon stays true to form.
B+ / VERY GOOD

Can from Market of Choice.
A mildly hazy straw yellow with a rapidly receding white head. The nose is classic Berlinerweisse. Straw, cracker, wheat, lemon, pronounced lactobacillus expression with yogurt, lactic acid to go with a mild funk. Awesome and refreshing. The palate opens crisp and tart with a big lactic tartness, a moderate lemony acidity. Grain, straw appear on the mid-palate. Drying, mildly funky on the finish with lingering lemon. Light in body, briskly carbonated.

In collaboration with Heater Allen. Canned 4/28. Very pale straw color, light head which quickly fades away leaving what lloks like lemonade. Lemon notes and balanced sour taste. Very refreshing on a warm Saturday afternoon.
