Slight haze on the amber brew with modest but sticky foam in the tall Faust Weizen glass. Light aroma of straw and something herbal. Pleasantly sudsy mouthfeel with a substantial body. Taste is maltier than most of these Pale Wheats. Slight sweetness to start, grainy flavors, even kind of rich tasting.

Overall this is much more interesting than so many of the American style wheats. The retrained hoppy flavors add to the drinkability. Just the slightest bitter twang in the aftertaste, but all well balanced. From the 16 oz can purchased down south. Dated 09/24/21.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge and specks of lacing on the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of wheat are present in the nose along with hints of lemon and orange citrus.
T: The taste is dominated by flavors of wheat.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has lots of aromas and flavors of wheat and seems a little "rough" around the edges.
