After a long afternoon of yard work decided to open this bottle I'd been aging as a treat, (bottled 11/29/21; server @ 42 degrees F after refrigerating for 48 hrs.). Poured a hazy orange color with a big clean white fizzy head that receded evenly within several minutes. I smell plum, passion fruit, apple with hints of spices, (probably from the yeast.) Taste is juicy, sweet, funky and then a clean dry tart finish missing some of the peppery notes I was getting in the nose. Light to medium bodied with nice carbonation and a funky mouthfeel that lingers. This was really refreshing and very drinkable, (wish I had bought another).

Murky orange pour with an off-white head and plenty of lacing. This is exactly as advertised: sweet and tart plum meet bretty funks in both smell and taste. Nose has some oaky and floral influences, taste has oak, wild yeast, and dry earth.
Bright and juicy in a light and delicately tart way for the mouthfeel, just dries out nicely through the sip. This is very very good, comparable to peche n brett, plum not as lasting at the peach, except body is not as complex with the funk and runs a little thinner but still elegant

750mL (bottled 11/29/2021) into a tulip. Pours a yellowish pink with a minimal white head—a dead ringer for pink grapefruit juice.
Aroma is fruity and sweet—bright and tropical. The actual core smell of this beer is elusive, captured only in fleeting wisps. At the same time citrusy and floral, I think it’s unlike anything I have smelled before. It’s said that smell is the sense most closely linked to memory, and I have no reference point for this aroma (bubblegum probably comes pretty close, or some other fruit candy). It’s wonderful though.
Taste is straight-up Smarties, or Sweet Tarts. Really nice sweet fruit flavor balanced by an equally assertive tart quality. Minerally, slightly alkaline biscuity malt, brett yeast. I really like this.
Mouthfeel is balanced, dry, clean. Washes the palate clean with each sip.
Overall a super drinkable, unique farmhouse/wild ale. Really glad I was able to try this, it was right up my alley.

This one pours a light golden orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like funky and dry plum, red wine, prickly Brett, clove, and hay.
This doesn't begin to approach how great Peche n' Brett always is, but it's still an interesting beer to try. There doesn't feel like a ton of plum here - the n' Brett part of the name seems to dominate here with hay, clove, and a bit of dusty funk. There's some red wine type flavors, and a touch of oak, too.
This is medium bodied, creamy, and pretty drinkable overall.
I definitely enjoyed this, but Peche n' Brett, one of the elder statesmen of American fruited wild ales, still wins here.
