Served in the taproom in a snifter. Nov. 2, 2013. First visit to this local brewery for me.
Overall this is a good sour stout. The sea salt comes in very subtle but is there; much like a Gose. Dark in color with little to no residual lace. Taste has hints of chocolate a little bit of stout flavor hides inside the sour but not super bitter sourness. Assuming if bottled and aged it would come out more sour. Good carbonation. As it warms I get subtle flavors of currants and fruity sweetness. Really enjoyed this beer. Would drink many times over.
