On tap at the NC Brewers & Music Festival circa 2015 (from notes).
This beer was near black with red-brown edges in the light.
They were not cautious with the use of beets in this stout leaving an obvious impact on both the flavor and the aroma. The taste reflects beets as well as a more generic vegetable content,
Feel: medium-full body with medium-low carbonation.
Overall: certainly unique. Drinkable and interesting but not appealing and I wouldn't want to drink a lot of this.
