A: Pours a relatively clear medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy very light beige head that slowly reduces to a handful of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of bready + pale + lightly toasted + grainy malts with a light to moderate amount of grainy sweetness. Light to moderate aromas of spice/paradise seed (similar to black peppercorn with a hint of earthiness) and light aromas of melon/honey dew hops. Hints of yeastiness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of bready + pale + lightly toasted + grainy malts with a light to moderate amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of spice/paradise seed (similar to black peppercorn with a hint of earthiness) and a slightly heavier than light flavor of yeastiness. Finally there are light flavors of melon/honey dew which impart a very light amount of bitterness which fades away after a fairly short amount of time leaving a relatively clean finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth and relatively clean.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a relatively clean mouthfeel. Enjoyable with fairly traditional Helles Lager flavors and aromas (the paradise seed does a decent job of replicating spicy traditional hop flavors) and the interesting addition of Huell Melon hops.
