A hazy amber brew, a very low off-white head, no lacing and small curtains.

Smelling of burned rubber, milk acidity and spices.

A sweet white bread start, burnt bread, spices, coriander, currants and a light clean bitterness.

Little carbonation, a bit watery, a coarse dry finish.

An ok beer, a little odd though.

A: Pours copper with a large off-white thick head. Nice lacings.

S: Some sweet to the malt, slightly roasted. Buttery and fruity, almost flowery.

T: Basic English; light roasted caramell malt together with floral and bitter hops; green apples and lemons together with oranges. Buttery.

M: Rather rough and aggresive carbontion, while the body is medium and smooth. Aftertate lingers with nice bitterness.

O: A bit unever - some parts are pretty nice, while others could improve - nothing stands out, it's pretty basic.

The beer forms an enormous head while poured; the foam is beige and compact. The liquid is copper coloured (17 EBC) with a slight haze. Some lacing. Lots of yeast in the bottle.

The smell is semi-sweet with some honey with notes of hay and dried flowers. Some smooth bitter notes and a touch of lemon. Very British.

The taste brings a fine blend of sweet bred- and honey flavours and lemon/lime bitterness. Some dry notes of bitter herbs. Cookies and minerals. Some unclean yeasty notes. The aftertaste is medium bitter with notes of fresh and dried flowers, some lemon acid and crisp bread. The finish brings a mild lingering bitterness.

The carbonation is medium strong with few small sharp bubbles. The liquid is dry and light.

A robust English pale ale. The yeasty unclean notes lowers the score a bit.
