Poured from the 1 liter brown plastic bottle into a tall pilsner glass.
A: The beer is a solid gold color with a good amount of carbonation rising withing. The head is white with some off-white notes and grows quickly into a nice fluffly 2 and a half fingers, with good retention, leaving some sticky lacing on the glass, and reducing to a half finger of suds that sits there for some time.
S: Nice slightly grassy smell with a hint of malts within. A light touch of butter, and perhaps a touch of soapiness in at the end.
T: Somewhat sweet on first glance with some mild spiciness inside. Finish is balanced with a slight dryness. Bready and grassy, leaving the slightest bitterness in the mouth.
F: Somewhat watery and filmy in the mouth, but the finish is dry.
D: This is pretty decent for a Bulgarian beer, and I had no qualms finishing the 1 liter bottle it came in.
Overall, this is a nice, pretty tasty pils from one of the big brewers in Bulgaria. The label reads "Cheshko Pivo" which roughly translated to Czech Lager, or Czech Style Beer. I think overall they made a pretty good attempt at it.
