'Stubbi' 33cl bottle. Three months before sell-by date.
Poured in a pils glass.
Reminds me of a bad Irish lager from the 1980's -- crystal clear with almost no head -- which is unusual for a German pils. To be fair to the beer, it is now very carbonated which probably means it needed to be poured more aggressively.
Unfortunately it also tastes like an Irish Lager from the 1980's -- almost no taste with a slight sourness in the finish. It's cold. I warm the glass a bit with my hands to see if that helps: yes it does, a wee bit of flavour comes through, oddly a little lemonadey, which is much more drinkable than when fridge cold...
