It may now be listed among the retired models, but this was found as a four-pack of pint cans. One was emptied into a clear glass liter mug and all went well. The pour produced a modest, but enduring, white head on top of a slightly cloudy yellow-amber liquid. It's more bright than dull, but it straddles that visual. It smells dry, like a good Champagne wine would, without much references to hops, nor malt. It has a mild Belgian yeast and lactobacillus aspect to the taste, but it's only somewhat annoying to anyone that doesn't appreciate that. Even so, that only appears during the finish. Up front, it's good white wine sweet, but only semi-dry. Its body is Champagne like, which works for the wine, but fails to provide enough body for an ale. Perhaps not for everyone's tastes, but this may be passable for some. It succeeds as a hybrid between a Belgian Ale and Champagne, which is its inferred intention. The 7% ABV is nicely included into the overall taste. The glass lacing is surprisingly stratified. Almost an enigma, this will probably taste pleasant to those that like the Belgian style and even some that don't. It might even appeal to a few Champagne lovers that also drink beer. Neither side will rate it among the best, but it is a great effort at brewing.

Purchased at a bottle shop in Montreal for $10.99 750ml bottle. Served at 6deg C in a tulip glass
A- Opens well and pours a small 1/2" high white head that films out within a minute or two. Nice medium gold colour and unfiltered
S- Yeasty good!
T- Yeast, Fruit. Traditional Belgium pale ale flavors and they did a good job at it. Nice clone. Slight banana and bubble gum notes are wonderful
M- Creamy going down then it dries right out.
O- Very nice little brew. Light and smooth. Very enjoyable. Will buy again
Food Pairing
This wonderful little brew went well with.......... Chinese stir fry. You choose your sauce however a light oyster sauce made this brew come alive.
Enjoy

Poured a clear golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma consists of sweet candy-like ester with some Belgian-style malt notes coming through. Taste is also dominated by sweet candy-like ester with light warming alcohol notes and some Belgian-style malt notes with quite a bit of residual sugars being noticeable. Body is about average with an oily texture and good carbonation with some warming alcohol being apparent but not overly so. Interesting take on the Belgian Champagne fermented style but a tad too sweet for my tasted buds.

Appearance: It has a nice slightly hazy golden color to it. It has a nice thick off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves very little lacing.
Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of bready malts, yeast, floral hops, lemon and peppery spices. Somewhat similar to a Saison.
Taste: Like the aromas, it has some bready notes, citrus, faint pepper, some floral hops and a nice flavor from the Champagne yeast.
Mouthfeel: It has a medium carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.
Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with decent flavors and aromas.
