This is one of the 'Limburger cheeses' of sour beers. Abuse and amuse your friends with the first impression scent of urine soiled homeless man's underwear. Yet, the flavor and taste make for a very approachable sour old brown with earthy, fruity and pleasurable undertones. The mouth feel and flavor makes me want to have another. Freak out the less experienced and closed minded beer aficionados just for shits and giggles. It's a very drinkable sour beverage once you get over the first whiff of the CTA Homeless guy stuck without a restroom on the redline. An Old brown worth the effort.

Cloudy brown color with a nice off-white foamy head.
Smells of soil, there's also lots of tartness and dark fruits.
Acidic with dark fruits in the mouth. Nothing incredible but not bad.
Nice mouth feel, obviously lots of carbonation in the mouth.

Decent balsamic notes, and while balanced it stands out in neither balsamic sweetness nor vinegar tartness. Body is a touch thin.
