It pours like a Belgian with a massive, rocky paper white head forming after a slow pour. Sheets of thick lace are pasted on all sides of the glass. Its aggressive level of carbonation can be seen amidst its hazy golden apricot body.

A melange of sweet, ripe tropical fruits comes out of the glass. Ripe papaya and mango skins mix with juicy, fleshy peaches and apricots. A fresh leafy green character is also pervasive. Lemon peel adds a slightly acidic quality. A firm note of biscuit is layered in the back. It's not overly pronounced but it does well at showcasing the fruity goodness of some of my favorite American hops.

Its hop character turns more leafy, piney, and resinous in the taste. The tropical fruitiness of papaya and mango are less ripe but still present. Fleshy apricot turns into a flat leafy bitterness with a lick of biscuit. Papery in the end.

Even with the lack of a bold bitterness, its body is still too light for the flavors it holds. It has a dry/flat note that makes me think of oxidization.

The more I drink, the more I think it's oxidized. Its light body does nothing to hide its papery, flat character. It starts off great with an attractive appearance and flavorful nose but doesn't redeem itself as it goes further. Justice is not done to its fantastic hop bill. A middle of the road offering for the style.
