Serving: Bottle
Bottled on: "A" (not B or C) 2015 [likely mid to late June 2015]
A:
Pours a clear golden yellow with a couple fingers of cream-colored head that is pretty thick and settles to a decent film. Okay retention; thick lacing. (4)
S:
Lightly spicy cereals. Mushy cereal, oats, biscuit, dried herbs. (3.75)
T:
Similar to the smell but breadier. Pretty even-tasting with a slight hop spice, lightly toasted malts, flaked oats. (3.5)
M:
Light + bodied with a lingering light hop feel, fairly drinkable, but a little messy tasting, wich takes away from it. (3.75)
O:
Okay beer as far as that goes.
All in all this is not a bad beer, but it could definitely be a little crisper- and a lot cleaner-tasting. It pours pretty nice with a good clarity and a nice little cap. The nose and taste both have a mushy, soggy, oatmeal quality to them that kind of take away on the whole, but it is far from undrinkable. Just not my cup of pilsner.
Probably would rather a German or Czech if I had to choose; meh. (3.5)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
