Dirty gold color. Cloudy. Small head even with a violent pour. It settles slowly, though. It leaves a couple of spots and a few streaks on the glass.
Sweet caramelized malt with a strong sour cherry aroma. If I didn't know, with a blindfold, I might guess that this is a weak Cerise.
Surprisingly neutral start to the flavor. I mainly get cream (lactose?). As I push the liquid back in the throat, the flavor crescendos rapidly. There's a definitive alcohol warmth with the aforementioned cherry sourness. I also get a touch of bitterness, but only in the swallow. The aftertaste is lemony sour and the warming factor also lingers nicely. The carbonation is quite high, particularly for the style, but the body holds up well. I don't really get any brandy flavors, but I wouldn't give this beer any demerits.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dark yellow color ale with a medium foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of light sweet malt notes with solid Brandy notes also apparent. Taste is a good mix of sweet malt notes with some Brandy notes with light warming alcohol notes. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation. Not the most interesting of the series but well brewed nonetheless.
