A-Jet black with a maple hue. Light brown pillowy head that remains, with good lacing
S-A nice nutty aroma of hazelnuts and prune, with a hint of cinnamon spice.
M-Lighter than I’d like and somewhat watery, with carbonation medium to low end
T-There is a hint of liquorice in the flavour with notes of Malt, molasses and caramel coming through strong enough to be present, but on the weaker side. I get a big hit of ripe prunes and raisins.
O-I quite enjoyed this beer, while sitting in a Canadian fall, outdoors, in shorts while the wind was frigid and cool.

Deep brown (almost black) with a hint of red color. Medium lace that thins out fairly quickly. I taste more of a malty and coffee taste than sweet. In fact, it almost felt like I was drinking cold espresso. Aroma dominated by malt and caramel. Low bitterness. Fizzles on tongue. An aggressive interpretation of a brown ale?

Brown with red hues with a small off-white head.
Nice nutty and roasted aromas.
Good hazelnut flavor, really sweet but no too much.
Lots of carbonation in the mouth, pretty nice overall.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with light residuals sugar notes is nice. Taste is a nice mix of caramelized malt with some light residual sugar notes and nice roasted cereal notes. Body is full enough for style with good carbonation. Well done for the style.
