Light / refreshing citrus up front. Very enjoyable but not much else.

L'Occasion from Brasseur du Monde. Bought a 500ml bottle a 4,5$
-Look: Hazy orange/yellow color. Lot's of carbonation half of finger of white head. Im disapointed of the looks. The beer look like I just put a pastille of vitamin C.
-Smell: Citrus, orange peel, peach and some pins.
-Taste: Same as the smell but the high carbonation fade the taste. The smell of this beer is amazing and makes ur expectation really high, then you taste it and there still some of the smell but the high carbonation for me doesn't do it.
-Feel: Light to medium body, high carbonation, not the best feels as the light American IPA.
-So overall would I buy again ? The answer is.... no. As a session IPA, there is much better offer at a lower price and it is a shame because the Brasseur du Monde makes really good beer.

Citrus aroma pronounced. I detect some peach as well. Nice thick foamy cream. Cloudy gold color with carbonation present. Light tasting compared to the Goose IPA I recently had which packed more of a fuller body punch. Hops and bitterness present.

At Bier Market Montreal
A) Looks as good as the other Quebecoise full throated IPAs in my flight. Flights here are 7 oz.
S) Rich, citrus and pine, with lots of peach and orchard fruit.
T) BIgger than aroma - follows with more full round orchard fruit flavor, cidery.
F) No lightweight in body, easy going, clean, light stick, great session or first beer with a salad.
O) Great white IPA.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright yellow color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops with some floral undertones and light bitterness. Taste is a good mix of citrusy hops notes with some residuals sugar notes, floral undertones with some bitterness. Body is full with good carbonation. Solid hops profile but maybe a tad too much bitterness for the style.

Listed as an IPA, but I rated based on what I want in a nice, light, session IPA. Tons of good happiness, nice body from the wheat and very light crystal, and crushable alcohol content.
Tons if American hop presence, grapefruit and citrus on the nose, light tropical fruit, with some peach and stone fruit on the palate. All complimented by a full body, with noticeable wheat component, and topped with a big rocky head.
All in all, great session IPA, especially if you like white IPAs the way I do.
