Raffo Lavorazione Grezza is a new addition for 2024, an innovation within the Raffo family. It is born from a special production process, Raw Processing, which creates an unfiltered lager enriched with Unrefined Grains from the Apulia region in Southern Italy.
Its appearance is cloudy, the taste is round and delightfully fresh, with a malty aroma and hoppy notes on the finish.
P.S. Enjoy it “croccante” (meaning “crisp” or “chilled”, as per Apulian tradition).

Sestri Levante 18/7 2024. 45 cl bottle from Carrefour Express, Via Nazionale, Sestri Levante. Orange label with a colorful rendering of a fellow with a trident riding a Dolphin.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a light whiff of citrus. Sweet pale malts, bread and a bit of caramel. Lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is watery and a bit flat.
A bit generic take on a Kellerbier.
