Appearance: Served up a deep, dark amber-brown body with a lightly creamyish, dusky, ivory-toned head
Smell: Heavily toasted breadcrust, smoked banana meats, dense, fresh spices, raisin syrup, hot alcohol.
Taste: Instantly, heated alcohol and black pepper with clove in the forefront of the flavor. Deep toast and a caramelly sweetness. A dark fruitiness and touch of banana tries to show, but it obscured by the resurgence of booze and spice which lasts through the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. A couple notches above medium carbonation.
Overall: A tad hot this time out and sharp on the phenols, like setting a raw clove bud to smolder on the tongue.
