Appearance: Near clear and deep golden in appearance, the Basil Blonde is capped with a white head.
Smell: Aromawise, it certainly has that fresh blast of basil one cannot fault it for. Or shouldn't, really.
Taste: Houses a minor breadiness to the base malts with a fast, fleeting sweetness. Some dry honey hints. A little apple. Herbal, spicy hop element that is amply bitter and adds to the 'spice' of the basil leaves.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-low carbonation.
Overall: While it's not something I'd request on a daily basis, it's good to a get a little basil in one's system from time to time.
