This is a beer that sneaks up on you. With my first glass, I was under the impression that I wouldn't like this beer very much. but by the time I had emptied the can, I was in love. The hops overwhelm you at first, then you just surrender. It black and beautiful to look at and smells fantastic. It has a great malt to hop balance once you recover from its initial hop assault. It's hard to judge the mouth feel since, as stated in the beginning, the hops overwhelm initially. I can't quit this beer. There, I said it.

Rye and chocolate with subtle citrus notes to nose. Roasted malts rest easy on the palate, A very nice beer.
