first smoked porter I ever had. It was pretty smokey to me. reminded me of the smoked bbq brisket flavor I had for lunch.A liquid bbq beer. If your a fan of smoked porter I would recommend giving his one a try.

Appearance: Served up a very dark brown body with a slim, ivory-hued head and coating laceworks.
Smell: A clean smoke element leads in the aroma, then, roasted malts followed by softened dark chocolate, a sliver of dark fruitiness and snippet of licorice.
Taste: Dark malts tasting of dark chocolate, sugar-sweetened coffee, also some caramel and burnt toast. Light dark fruitiness. Minor herb hit, very little hop character, with a medium-low bitterness present. Upon the first few sips the smoke really pops out at you, but, as you get on with it, it eventually blends into the background. Roasty, lightly sweetish, lightly smoky finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A solid smoked porter.
