Poured on draught into a tulip glass. Appearance is dark dark brown with 1-2 finger thick creamy brown head. Taste has a lot going on between the rum, roasted malt and oak. The rum is slightly harsh but not overpowering. The roasted malt and oak are excellent, but the flavors don't work together perfectly. It is fairly dry, which I prefer. I would order this stout whenever available mostly due to the roasted malt and oak.
