It's striking to read a beer menu and find that a good friend has died, but such is the case here. This DIPA is named for my late friend, brewer and fellow beer geek, Dan Rosen.
Hazy amber body with a durable white head.
Pungent, complex aroma with grassy and fruity notes. Moderately bitter for style which is to say high bitterness. medium body with medium carbonation.
A bit harsh, but so is the news of Dan's death.
