Watermelon Mint Gose

16oz can, snifter glass. Pours a cloudy golden straw yellow body, one finger white head, good retention, not much lacing. Smell is a slight bit of pepper, watermelon, wheat, mild lactic acid, a bit of grain and mineral, and a bit more watermelon. The flavour works really nicely, a big dose of that distinct watermelon flavour, combined with a bit of lemon and mild-moderate lactic acidity turns it into a fairly mild watermelon Jolly Rancher. The mint adds a slight herbal and minerally balance to it as well. It's more than drinkable, very refreshing mint and mineral finish on the backend that is just slightly dry. Solidly constructed gose with a nice watermelon quotient. FYI, the mint is very mild here, if that is what worries you.
