Look: Clear Amber.
Smell: It's piney and kind of malty.
Taste: It's a hop heavy brew with a nice malt presence, which is appreciated.
Feel: It's good to have a non-NE IPA. I like an edgy hop presence,
Overall: Lovely.

Appearance: Pours a fairly clear, golden-amber body with a medium-small, near white head.
Smell: Caramel maltiness ensconced in ribbons of, well, it's not overly fragrant. Meager hints of citrus, meadow flowers and stone fruit. Meager hints, mind you.
Taste: Caramel and simple syrup cut short and quick with a curt blow of herbal, pelletized hop character with an aggressive bitterness. Sharp, sharp citrus and florals and resin. Some sugary blips are coming through, but, ultimately, you've got a good ole bitter ride on your hands.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: Remember Double IPA's?
