Brewed with candy sugar and Orval yeast. A nice firm bitterness supports the rich complex malt flavors of figs, dark fruit, dark caramel, and raisins.

Had on tap. Murky reddish brown body, oatmeal colored head. Aromas of dark fruit, belgian yeast, candi sugar, and earthy dark grain. Taste has caramelized dark fruits, especially fig, with candi sugar, belgian yeast that accentuates the fruitiness. Smooth and larger body, feeling those sugars at first before yeast helps cut, then malty
