Comes out of the tap a hazy honey-golden. There was not much head, but this is probably an artifact of the pour. Aroma is fruity, mainly apple and pear, with a yeasty and wheaty undertone. Refreshing, fruity flavor is almost more like a cider than a hefe, but the yeasty and wheaty notes, as well as the touch of hops, remind you that this is indeed beer. Firm-bodied texture is fizzy and lively, leaving a fruity and tingly finish.

Appearance: Thoroughly clouded, dusky orange body with a smallish, white head.
Smell: Lightly sweet-scented honey glazed cereals with low, low touches of citrus, spice, and 'nanas.
Taste: A bit of modestly sweet baked honey encapsulating lightly toasted grains. Light wheat taste. Faint, fleeting hints of lemon curd, coriander, and banana. Very low hop character, bitterness. Drying finish with final few flecks of wheat. With the low carbonation, the finish falls a bit flat, sadly.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Lightly carbonated.
Overall: It's relatively light on flavor, which is fine, but it's also left wanting the creaminess and effervescence of other hefes.
