On tap at the brewpub
A: Pours pitch black with just a ring of light brown head.
S: Sweet rum mixed with caramel, dark chocolate, burnt sugars, and toffee. Oak is in the background, but helps balance the intense aromas. The flavors mix together so well.
T: The rum melds so well with the stout flavors. Sweet caramel mixes with dark chocolate and burnt sugar. Toffee adds some complexity, as does a touch of spicy oak. The flavors here are in perfect, delicious harmony.
M: Very thick with minimal carbonation.
O: The rum does wonders to an already intensely flavored, complex beer. This is one of the best Imperial Stouts I've ever had. It's intense, but so very good.
