Best craft beer revolving selection in the area, PH's KomornÃk brings a great variety of routine good craft beers and a creative mix of seasonal or limited release brews. The food is better than average American Fare, and the service is always 4-star.

This is a true roadhouse; it's been there forever. It is small and dark but atmospheric in a dive-bar way. It's the type of place you first frequent when you attain drinking age and never forget. There's lots of old-time locals drinking at all hours. What sets Poor Henry's apart is the excellent rotating selection of craft beers on draught. There are locals (Carton, Kane, Magnify, Bolero Snort, etc.), regionals, and even some good european beers. The food is perfectly acceptable: mainly good burgers and sandwiches. The point is, you can drink excellent craft beer in an old fashioned "dive" bar. What could be better?

Poor Henry's is awesome. It's a dive bar with no windows (as stated in earlier post), but it has pretty much everything else. Jessie who runs the place is great- he knows his beer/brewing, gets his hands on some unique stuff, always tries to support local breweries, and is as nice as can be. Always goes out of his way to come say hello.
-Beer-
I still believe there are 23 taps (could be a few more, never counted haha). They keep a few "regular" beers on for the non-craft crowd, but the rest are used for IPAs, sours, stouts, pale ales, and even meads from time to time. You never know what you are going to find. Great selection!
-Food-
When I first started coming here I was hooked on the cheddar burger, and still love it. But the more I go the more I find other great food. The menu has expanded and Jessie works with the cooks and is constantly coming up with new ideas. I used to just come for the beer, now I come for the food too.
-Atmosphere/Events-
As stated earlier, the place is pretty dark. But the familiar faces and friendly crowd make up for that. Often times there is some live music on on the weekends...nothing spectacular, but adds some more life. They have beer events/releases/tap takeovers all the time. Just need to check the calendar.
Highly recommend stopping in for a bite and brew. You won't be disappointed!

One of my fave watering holes. Excellent selection of craft beers that is always changing. Great beer events every month. Very good food at fair prices. What more could you want.

Let's just get this out of the way - Poor Henry's is a dive.
Is the sun out? Snowing? Raining? Is the world ending? Who knows. You're at Poor Henry's and there sure as hell aren't any windows. But it's ok. You're most likely enjoying a pretty damn good beer. 23 taps that are constantly rotating. Always at least one from both Carton and Kane. 20 oz pours for 16 oz prices. Need I continue?
Poor Henry's has always been a family run place that did it's thing. The locals loved it. It was the charming little watering hole. Only in the last few years has Poor Henry's been getting into the craft game. Just a few months ago they expanded from 13 to 23 taps. So needless to say, the bartenders aren't entirely up to speed on the beers just yet - but they're improving.
Beer selection is tops. Always a wide range of styles - always seems to be at least one sour on tap. Always one or two craft imports that other bars just don't seem interested in bringing in.
Food is pretty solid. Like I said, it's been a small, family owned place for quite some time. So it's that kinda food. I've never really delved too far into the food menu, but everything I've had has been enjoyable.
Prices are great. As I said earlier, they serve 20 oz pours of beers that would be 16 (or maybe even 14) oz everywhere else - and they seem to be 16 oz prices. No complaints there. Food is very reasonably priced as well.
TL:DR - Dive, dive, dive. Place has been around forever - now into the craft game and is doing very well for themselves. Prices are reasonable. You should stop by. Poor Henry's has very quietly become the #1 bar in Morris County for craft beer.
