A heavily dry hopped, saturated, hazy Pale Ale. The Galaxy hop is the star of this beer. Notes of candied peach, guava, gum and mild citrus with a subtle grassiness. Like all things unified in the interstellar landscape, render yourself to the Cosmic Nod.

Canned 12-11-19
Bright orange/lemon color. Mild head and sticky lacing, a minute after pour. Aroma is fruity peach and a light melon. Light pine and citrus taste, and very well balanced. MF is medium, light carbonation.
Another well put together beer from SC.

16oz can courtesy of bl00. According to the stamp on the bottom, this was canned on November 17, 2016.
Poured into a shaker pint glass, this was a thoroughly hazy lemon-gold color. Big, creamy and rocky head that left lots of lace.
Tropical fruits up front in the nose, with a little bit of an herbal, grassy undercurrent.
Like in the nose, fruity hops lead off. The finish is dry, with a slightly herbal, bitter bite to it.
Light bodied, with a slightly dry mouthfeel.
Quite drinkable. Lots of flavor for a 5% pale ale. I'd drink this regularly if it were local to me. Thanks, Dan!

Pours hazy & juicy, if that is your thing (I don't have a strong preference). Aroma is light & grassy with a little stonefruit underneath. Taste is good, pretty simple but showcases Galaxy hops well, you get some guava & mango, a little citrus underneath, approachable & refreshing. A little chalky on the tongue.

A pounder can into a snifter appears clouded yellow with a white cap.
The aroma is stinky cheese, fruits herbs and sulfur.
The taste is fruity hops before getting pithy and pulpy.
Its medium in body with modest carbonation. Not bad.

This is my seCANd go-'round with this beer, attempting to drink & review it for The CANQuest (tm). My first one actually, literally burst its lid at the seams before I could get to it & I had to wait until it was re-released for me to get another one. Boo hoo.
From the CAN: "Drink Fresh [-] Do Not Age"; "Best Kept Cold"; "Pour Into a Glass for Best Drinking Experience".
It came in a 16-fl. oz. pint CAN, so following the Crack!, I employed a gentle Glug into the awaiting glass. I was a little unnerved at first by some light foaming through the vent, especially given the earlier epic failure. Upon settling, it revealed a brimful craft CAN with nowhere for the tongue to go after being pushed through the vent by the tab. It seemed to be incredibly carbonated as I got massive amounts of foaming action as I poured, forcing me to back off & down. I initially had better than three fingers of dense, rocky, French Vanilla-colored head, but it slowly fell away, leaving great lacing in its wake. Color was a cloudy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5), CAN read "5.3". Nose was redolent with tropical fruit (mango, papaya & guava) & my mouth began to water. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was a little more bitter than the nose had led me to expect, coming across with a slight grapefruit flavor in addition to the tropical fruits noted earlier. Still, it was not overly bitter & actually a bit more easy-drinking than some other APAs that I have reviewed lately. Finish was dry, but not biting or puckering. It made for a very pleasant quaff.
