Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into a snifter. The beer pours a bright clear golden color with fizzy bleached white head of 1cm foaming up. the foam fades pretty quickly to a thin edge layer.
The aroma some grainy malt and a bit of a biscuit or scone scent. SOme light spicy to herbal hops also come through, but overall the nose is mild.
First sip reveals a light crisp textured body with very fine and prickly carbonation. Finish is very dry.
Flavor is what I expected from the nose. I get grainy malt and a bit of sweet note, maybe some biscuit or caramel and then a good dose of hop character comes through with spiciness and a little herbal tea crisp bite. the beer drinks really easy and is a decent example of the style. No flaws and tasty.

16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating, really guys, it doesn't help to put "Drink Fresh, Do Not Age" on the can, and then not have a canned on date.

This was initially a gusher. cracked the can and foam started pouring out. 12oz of foam. Infected? nope, just lively. After settling, reveals a cloudy bordering on murky orange yellow body. generous white head leaving good lacing.

yeasty, lagery aroma

taste is clean, slightly fruity, yeasty.

medium on the mouth, faintly bitter on the finish.

overall, drinkable despite being ugly looking.

Pounder can into a tulip appears clear golden yellow with big white froth that fades leaving soapy lace.

Aroma of herbal hops, sulfur and mineral/carbonic character.

Tastes a little fruity with alcohol/hops, caramel malt, buttery diacetyl and sulfur/mineral/carbonics.

Light in body with modest carbonation. Its decent, dont need to have it again though.

From the can. A very pleasant mix of bready malts, with biscuit, grass, amd a hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is a little light, but very refreshing. Carbonation is just about perfect. Finish is slightly dry and refreshing. An enjoyable and sessionable Pilsner - another good effort from the South County brewery.

Had this on 2017-05-01 and again on 2017-11-10 in Columbia, PA from a 16oz can

A - Clear gold with a 1-finger white head and very little lace

S - Very aromatic with white bread, grass, pear and honeysuckle

T - Lightly toasted white bread, hint of caramel, white grape, grassy and earthy spice. Finishes fruit/bread sweet at first before the burgeoning bitterness puts things into balance.

M - Medium body and carbonation. Smooth, almost creamy before drying out. More substantial than many Pilsners; and the better for it.

O - This is a really good brew. Plenty of aroma and flavor, fresh tasting with a great feel. More please.

Crisp and drinkable, with mild balanced corn, bread, and hops aromas. I'm not typically a German Pilsner guy, but I'll make an exception for this one. Drinkable yet flavorful and crisp.

A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grains, lemons, a bit grassy. Taste is malts, lemons, grains, some grassiness, a touch of sweetness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a refreshing beer I could easily pound several of.

I really love going to The Friendly Greek Bottle Shop to scour around for new & unusual beers, especially in CANs. This addition to The CANQuest (tm) was presented to me during a recent foray. Like the look of the pic? Thank The CANQuest (tm) as no CAN will ever be Crack!ed open without an approved pic in place.

From the CAN: "Classic[;] Smooth[;] Crisp[;] Embrace the C[AN]"; "Best kept cold * Drink fresh[,] do not age[,] please recycle"; "Pour into a glass - for best drinking experience".

The Crack! revealed another brimful craft CAN & gave me a little squirt across my fingertips. An inverted Glug, even with it being a pint CAN, lifted up two fingers of foamy, bone-white head briefly before falling away to wisps. Color was Yellow-Gold (their SRM = 4.2), but much closer to Yellow, so the Gelt Gang of Mammon, Midas & Croesus passed on it. Nose had a sweet malty cast along with the grassy hay-like scent of Noble hops. I have a preference for Czech Pilsners, but I will not turn up my nose at a German Pilsner. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was crisp, clean, but not as malty as the nose had led me to expect. CANundrum! It tasted great, but it was more hop-forward than malt-forward, which is incorrect for the style. I do not get hung up on style, but since I am the first review, I should be forthcoming. The hops were very grassy, slightly hay-like and it made for a very dry drink. Again, not what I would look for in a German Pils. That said, I think that it tasted fantastic! Finish was clean, crisp & dry, leaving me licking my lips in CANticipation of the next sip. It is a great summertime beer and worthy of your attention. In the interim, I will do some legwork to try and determine its brewer's intent. If was meant to be a Czech Pils, I will report an Update.
