The Intervals series is a platform that allows our brewers to experience and study the ingredients that we use in brewing. As we develop new flavors and experience those nuances we can share that with others. From single hop varieties to alternate grains we want you to learn with us! Experiment, learn, repeat!

A pounder can into snifter appears hazy copper with an off-white cap.
The nose is cheesy, herbal and dank. The taste has quite the catty piss quality rindy with fruits and stanked cheese that gets herbal and pithy as it warms.
This is medium in body with modest carbonation. Not bad.

Of late, I open my reefer & discover more CANs that I want to rate & review for The CANQuest (tm) and this is yet one more example. I have to admit to being impressed by the strides that this brewery has made since its inception & I look forward to more good things from them.
From the CAN: "Enjoy the Experience [-] Embrace the CAN"; "Exploring the Possibilities [-] Learn With Us"; "Pour Into a Glass for Best Drinking Experience".
The Crack! revealed a brimful craft CAN & that, coupled with its 16-fl. oz. size meant that I would be CANducting a gentle Glug into the awaiting glass. Unbidden, it formed two fingers of dense, foamy, tawny head with great retention, refusing to go away. Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9). Nose had the distinct cattiness of Simcoe the Kitty who routinely drops by, knowing my hophead proclivities. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste not as catty as the nose, but instead tasted like Simcoe had brought me a blueberry pie! There was a biscuity maltiness to go with a distinct blueberry flavor & I was glad for its presence. Man, but this was tasty! Finish was semi-dry, but still enough to keep my hophead self happy. Well done, South Co. B.C.!
