The Intervals series is a platform that allows our brewers to experience and study the ingredients that we use in brewing. As we develop new flavors and experience those nuances we can share that with others. From single hop varieties to alternate grains we want you to learn with us! Experiment, learn, repeat!

To know which release you are purchasing just flip the can over and the details are printed on the bottom.

At long last, the CANportunity has finally arisen for me to do a brewery horizontal with South County B.C. & potentially close the book on them. I am sure that they mean well, but I have had far and away too many of their CANs that have either pooched out or exploded altogether. The CANQuest (tm) is not interested in babysitting a beer in the hopes of keeping it together. Once I run through this lot, I will disCANtinue buying their beers.

From the CAN: "Experiment * Learn * Repeat Intervals Brewing Research Series"; "Learn with Us"; "Pour Into a Glass for Best Drinking Experience".

I beCAN by Crack!ing open the vent & when nothing untoward occurred, I proceeded with a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It foamed nicely to form just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with very good retention. Color was a slightly-cloudy Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4). Nose smelled of mixed tropical fruit salad with pineapple, passionfruit, mango, guava & papaya. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste followed the nose with the addition of a light pine mintiness. Finish was semi-sweet. This was not too bad, but it lacked bitterness. I CAN only drink so many of these types of beers before my hops jones comes roaring to life. YMMV.

Canned 6-1-18 into Spiegelau glass.
L: Lightly clouded straw. Pour was with foamy bubbly head, light lacing that settled quick.
S: Light fruit, tropical.. and a mild case of the danks.
T: Very easy on both the tropical and fruity side. The hops are fairly forward, but they aren't pushing for attention.
F: Light to medium MF, with very little carbonation. Slight bitterness that mingles well throughout.
O: This is my very 1st brew by South County (saw them online last week), and I have to admit.. for 5% ABV, it was a very pleasant surprise. There was a good balance of flavor and aroma.. with no filler (looking at you fake-haze makers). Picked these up a local store, but they are just about out. The brewery is about an hour from here, so now it looks like we're headed west very soon.

Can dated 6/1/18 into pint glass. Poura a hazy straw color with a nice off-white head. Initial impression is a full-bodied, creamy IPA with tropical fruits, a bit of dank pine bitterness, and a bit of biscuity malts to hold everything together. Mouthfeel is fairly thick and creamy. Finish leaves a linfering bitterness. I liked the just plain Vic Secret version better - I don't think the El Dorado improves things.
