Hazy Double. Pours a bright straw color with nice 1/2 foam that stays on the glass. Citrus on the nose. Sticky mouth feel which lingers into a long (very long) finish.

Pours a deep gold yellow in the vein of traditional dipas. Very sweet like a double POG from scofflaw. Lots of promise but a bit too rich for my taste.

5 oz pour on tap. My first beer from South County. Appearance is a moderately hazy yellow/orange. Aroma and flavor feature tropical fruit and a huge hit of sweetness on the palate to the point of being cloying and unpleasant. Not great.

Nice hazy look, not too dark with a lacing thin offwhite head. Nice look. Slightly dank nose, less powerful than I expected. Caramel malts mix with sweet citrus flavors. Not much bitterness and less carbonation. Good NE IPA.

Undated (WTF?) can from the brewery into pint glass. Pours an encouragingly murky amber with a thinnish off-white head. Initial impression is a very mellow NEIPA - juicy but not cloying; understated hops, tropical fruits, light caramel malt. Mouthfeel is smooth and sticky; carbonation is fairly light. Alcohol is nicely camouflaged. Finish has a hit of grapefruit rind, but only a gentle lingering bitterness. South County is turning out some really superb stuff!
Rereview 07-28-19: Either my palate has changed or this got a whole lot sweeter since last summer. Now it's cloying. Scores adjusted accordingly.
