Gelato DIPA Berry Blast

L: Pours a murky purple color with a finger and a half of head along with some nice lacing.
S: Fruity hops along with some berry scents.
T: Blackberry and blueberry are dominating everything else. Hits of vanilla with a smooth finish.
F: Medium carbonation and body with a creamy mouthfeel.
O: A much more enjoyable beer than I expected.

Appearance - Pours deep murky purple with a big fluffy pink head that settles to a thick cap. Sheets of sticky lacing.

Aroma - Surprising nice hop aroma, vanilla, there is some fruit for sure but not strong enough to really make anything out. Slightly sweet.

Taste - Ok this is unique, the hops only show up really quickly right at the beginning. The fruit is much stronger in the taste blackberry, tart blueberry for sure. Vanilla shows up nicely about midway through.

Feel - Medium bodied creamy, smooth slightly sticky thick finish.

Overall - Really well done I am pretty impressed. I was worried how the hops would play in the taste with the fruit but they are really not present much. No sign of the 8% either.
