The Intervals series is a platform that allows our brewers to experience and study the ingredients that we use in brewing. As we develop new flavors and experience those nuances we can share that with others. From single hop varieties to alternate grains we want you to learn with us! Experiment, learn, repeat!

To know which release you are purchasing just flip the can over and the details are printed on the bottom.

At long last, the CANportunity has finally arisen for me to do a brewery horizontal with South County B.C. & potentially close the book on them. I am sure that they mean well, but I have had far and away too many of their CANs that have either pooched out or exploded altogether. The CANQuest (tm) is not interested in babysitting a beer in the hopes of keeping it together. Once I run through this lot, I will disCANtinue buying their beers.

From the CAN: "Experiment * Learn * Repeat Intervals Brewing Research Series"; "Learn with Us"; "Pour Into a Glass for Best Drinking Experience".

It was a part of the non-Exploding Plastic Inevitable, but upon Crack!ing open the vent on this one, I got some foaming CANming through. This necessitated a slow, gentle C-Line Glug to get things back under CANtrol, but it all worked out. I was met with just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with very good retention. Color was a slightly-hazy Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4). Nose held pine, peach and a general tropical fruitiness. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste had a grapefruit bitterness, tempered by the aforementioned fruit flavors. This was more towards my personal taste since where the others had previously lacked bitterness, this one was bitter enough to keep me from going off of the deep end. Finish was semi-dry and somehow more refreshing than the others. YMMV.

Canned 1-4-19 into South County silhouette.
L: Cloudy orange, off-white light head. Sticky lacing.
S: Balanced tropical and citrus. Mild pine.. dank.
T: Citrus (orange) base, with a wide variety of tropical. Light melon.
F: Mild bitterness and carbonation. Light-medium MF.
O: Another very good beer from SC. Lots of flavor for a single hop.. and the dank is done right.

Can dated 1/4/19 into pint glass. Pours a cloudy amber-yellow, with a fluffy off-white head. Initial impression is red grapefruit, orange, mango, and pine. Mouthfeel is smooth and soft. Very juicy - and I mean really juicy. Finishes with a slight lingering bitterness. Another good 'un from South County!
