A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a pooched out 16 oz. can. Has a hazy, dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is the same as the aroma, juicy, finishes dry. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a good quality beer.

At long last, the CANportunity has finally arisen for me to do a brewery horizontal with South County B.C. & potentially close the book on them. I am sure that they mean well, but I have had far and away too many of their CANs that have either pooched out or exploded altogether. The CANQuest (tm) is not interested in babysitting a beer in the hopes of keeping it together. Once I run through this lot, I will disCANtinue buying their beers. This one is the last of them.
From the CAN: "Experiment * Learn * Repeat Intervals Brewing Research Series"; "Learn with Us"; "Pour Into a Glass for Best Drinking Experience".
I Crack!ed open the vent & when I was not met with any untoward ocCANances, I proceeded with a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. This resulted in the formation of just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with very good retention, slowly falling to wisps. Color was a slightly-hazy Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4). Nose smelled of pineapple, white grapes, lemon & grapefruit. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium. Taste was an interesting blend of tropical and citrus with a white wine vinousness thrown in for good measure. I CAN't say that this was necessarily the best of the lot, but it was certainly the driest, which is really saying something! Finish was pleasantly dry & a nice way to close the book on this brewery. YMMV.
