A collaborative effort brewed with the great people Yakima Chief Hops, our primary hop supplier. This beer is brimming with Citra® hop character. We used YCH Trial 702 which is a late stage whirlpool extract product as well as CO2 extract in the kettle, we then dry hopped with select lots of T90, Citra Cryo™ pellets and Citra American Noble™ hop pellets. This beer is delightfully soft on the pallet with flavors and aromas of peach, lychee, citrus fruits and excellent hop "green" character but without the harshness or bitterness.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Best by April 5th 2024.
Pale green, with a slightly hazy yellow lemon but managing to stay away from turbid. Quite a good amount of green to this. Head is classic frothy, almost bleach white, but a little more subdued. Reaches easily four fingers with good control, some soapy retention, but lots of presence.
Very bold aroma. Hop forward a surprising mix. Slight tangerine, but more exotic fruit and tropical notes on the nose. Hits of thick grass and almost mildew like with hinting thick dank overtones. Quite a surprising amount of diversity.
Palate has some interesting character. Light bodied but still forceful enough on the palate to showcase the hop flavors. Tangerine, slight touching pineapple juice seem to come at first. There's an earthy quality and more melon later on. Strangely a bit of sour lemon take too, which is actually quite fun, if somewhat jarring.
Pretty unique take for a citra mish mash smash of a beer somewhat.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a thin but persistent off-white head. No lacing. Initial impression is definitely citrus, although there are notes of peach and subdued orange. Mouthfeel is crisp and medium-bodied. Finish fades to a slightly sweet citrus. Something different from South County.
