On tap at Roc Brewing in Rochester, NY. The brewer says this is an "IPAmber" brewed with Chinook and Centennial.
Pours a ruddy, deep, dark red, with a half inch head, and really good lacing down the glass.
Smells quite hoppy- lots of pine, with some grapefruit, with some caramel and toasted bread as well.
The taste is pretty similar. Some orange and grapefruity hop flavors, some pine, a little bit grassy, with some strong malt flavors backing all of this up, toasted bread, a little bit of rye, some caramel.
Medium bodied, crisp, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.
One of the best beers I've had from Roc Brewing. Good stuff for sure.
