On tap at Barber's Grill and Taproom. Listed as a pumpkin ale here, but it's a porter.
This pours a pretty dark black, with a small head, and no lacing.
Smells like pumpkin flesh, pumpkin seeds, chocolate and rye.
This is a pretty solid pumpkin beer here, it's not overly spiced like a lot of pumpkin beers. It's definitely got a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon, but not much. It's more fleshy and earthy actual pumpkin, with some rye spicing and chocolate malt. Maybe a little bit of smoke.
This is medium bodied, a little bit creamy, with a moderate level of carbonation.
This is a nice, subtle take on a pumpkin beer.
