Collaboration with Stoneyard Brewing.
On tap at Roc Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a super vivid pinkish-red, hazy and turbid looking, with a small head, and no lacing.
Smells like pure tart raspberry, and a little bit of floral hibiscus, and some veeeeery mild funk.
Though it's billed as a sour, this is certainly more of a fruit beer, as the raspberry and to a lesser extent, the hibiscus, are super dominant and there's very little sourness. That doesn't detract from how tasty it is, though- this is absolutely tasty and nice.
This has a very juicy and fruity mouthfeel, along with a normal level of carbonation.
A really nice sour from these guys, definitely out of their wheelhouse, but well executed.
