On tap at Roc Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black, with no real head or lacing.
Smells boozy and sweet, with ripe dark fruits, port, chocolate, and lots of booze.
This isn't that well constructed, unfortunately. It's pretty boozy and very harshly sweet- it's just hard to drink. There is a lot of syrupy dark fruit flavor, and it just kind of clashes weirdly with the boozy astringency. With time, this could possibly mellow out, who knows.
This is syrupy and thin, with a lower level of carbonation.
Eh. This is quite far from their best work.
