On tap at Roc Brewing Company in Rochester, NY. This is marked as a DIPA, but it's only 7.9%. That's definitely near the bottom end of ABV for the style.
This one pours a beautifully hazy golden orange, with a small white head, and a good amount of lacing. This is way to rock the appearance of a hazy beer- it doesn't look like soup- it looks like sunshine.
This smells pretty nice, orange and melon, mainly, and a bunch of indistiguishable tropical citrus- you get the idea. It smells good but possibly feels slightly unfocused.
This tastes pretty good, too- but not great. I get mainly orange and melon, with no malt character. There's a snappy bitterness on the back end that really helps this one.
This is light bodied and pretty crisp, with a good level of carbonation.
This is much better than some of their previous NE-style IPAs, due to the still present bitterness, and the high drinkability.
