As CB Craft Brewers closed, Roc Brewing now makes OT20 for the Old Toad. On tap at The Old Toad in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear light amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like piney astringent hops, lemon, and biscuity malt.
I used to like OT20 a lot back in the day, but that could have just been because it was early in my craft beer "career." This doesn't feel as good as I remember, so I'm not sure if it's worse than CBs, or I'm just less into this sort of thing nowadays. It's mostly overbitter hops and some booze, and some not too sweet malt. It's certainly not bad by any means, it's just very forgettable.
This is light bodied, crisp, and honestly pretty drinkable.
I wanted to like this more, as it's the house beer for an old favorite bar of mine. It's not horrible, I just expected more.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
