On tap at Swillburger/The Playhouse in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like bitter and rindy hops, grapefruit, crusty bread, and lemon.

This doesn't feel anywhere close to a traditional kolsch by any means, as it's fairly aggressively hoppy for the style. It's very bitter, with lots of grapefruit, pine, and lemon, and nearly no malt character other than some very light breadiness.

This is light bodied, drinkable, and with a significant lingering bitterness on the back end.

Roc Brewing is still never going to knock my socks off, but this wasn't too bad.
