This is a real dry stout to the point where I almost found too bitter. The body is black with the big nitro head. The nose is coffee and burnt malt. The taste is rich and creamy with a very bitter finish. The more I drank of this stout the better it tasted. Complexity was exhumed from the beer after a handfull of sips. Decent stout but The Velvet Stout from the sister pub in Yaletown is better.
